This is a vintage Stinger Model. The 4.5" blade is hollow ground, satin finish with a 3" clip point. The handle is red Dymondwood accented with brass fittings. OAL: 9.75".  The knife feels fantastic in the hand and is in near mint condition. The knife comes with the original leather sheath. Here is an article I read about them “The Iron Mountain knives have an interesting history. They actually have a patented handle design. They were originally made by Beaver in superior, Montana. Manny Silva & Sonny Guiler designed the knives and Silva patented the unique handle design in late 1980. silva & Guiler went their separate ways in the mid 1980’s and Guiler and his wife continued to make the knives, now using the Iron Mountain Knife Company name in Sparks, Nevada. Guiler passed away several years ago and Silva never re-appeared. There were several different models with different handle choices. The STINGER was their most popular model.
